Black Cat

Now I know those signs on that old general store in Goshen Valley are ringers.  The others may be authentic, though not to that building, but this one’s definitely an outlier:


English all the way.  Probably a repro.  Nice graphics, though.
Note: cats should not smoke cigarettes.

  1. They where produced until very recently by Burnham signs in the UK (now gone out of business) using the same artwork and techniques as the originals, I worked on graphics for them.

      • No problem Bob, it was sad when the Burnham’s & Garnier closed few years ago they produced vitreous enamel signage for the new London Underground signage mainly, but did these old signs as a sideline the company’s had been going for over 100 years.
